Love, magic, and stories worth telling

I’m so honored to share that I was recently interviewed by Canvas Rebel.
In this piece, I had the chance to talk about the journey behind Velvetback—how it began, what continues to inspire me, and how the work has evolved over time. I also got to reflect on something deeply personal: the biggest belief I had to unlearn in order to fully open up to tap into my creativity.
Think about a plant you'd like to strike up a conversation with.
Find a relaxing place to hang out with this plant for the next ten minutes or so. Make sure you take the time you need to get comfortable before you begin.
I recently sat down with Bold Journey to talk about all things creativity—how to navigate writer’s block, stay inspired, and keep the creative flow moving.
If you’ve ever felt stuck, struggled to bring your ideas to life, or wondered how to push through those creative dry spells, this conversation is for you!
The Bluebells arrive in Oregon each year during the magical week when the fruit trees bloom.
When tiny pink and white petals float on the breeze and drift down to the earth like snowflakes.
Being human is a lot.
And lately, it feels like the volume dial on life has been cranked up higher than ever. The unpredictability, the weight of it all—it’s real. In the hopes of offering a small moment of peace, I recorded a gentle, 5-minute meditation designed to help us observe and release our emotions with kindness and ease.
So, I started something that I’ve been wanting to do for a while—a weekly card pull for the collective, using my Magic Flowers oracle card deck.
Each Monday, I’ll draw one card and offer a glimpse into the plant’s wisdom, highlighting its personality, energy, and its unique magic.
I hope you’ll join me on YouTube or Instagram!
